As a dreamer of dreams and a
travelin' man, I have chalked up
many a mile. Read dozens of
books about heroes and

from both of their styles.
Fall 2005 Steelhead Fishing
Trip in October on the Lower
Sacramento River. A few days
on the river with some great
weather and fantastic
conditions. Drift boat fishing
from Caldwell Park to Jelly's
Ferry. Redds full of trout and
spawning salmon are
everywhere. Late evening

late morning rises.

It was a close vote. We called upon the democratic process to weigh in the interests of our
local, and not so local, adventure seeking constituents. Votes were counted, no dangling chads
were found. The traditional Sacramento River Trip won, by a huge margin, and prevailed
over the Mountain Biking Trip through Ireland to watch the Leap of the Lemmings. If only we
could have timed it with the March of St. Patrick, Bryon's Birthday... a stop over in Wales
and a U2 Concert... I think the lemmings

Now that... is Summer fun !
|
would have prevailed! Hell, I was excited about Square
Dancing at the Red Bluff WalMart, but no one else seemed
to share my passion. Nonetheless... seek out your calendar,
clean up your kayak, wash your mesh, plan your own meals
and bring a Telescope. We are seeking lunar observations,
constellations and the Milk Way. On our previous trip, we
took great joy in searching the heavens for the pending
“meteoric blast”, that never happened. But we discovered
great things! We found another common bond… a genuine
interest in savoring fine wine after a delightful meal and
star gazing into the night sky.
So be it then! We shall dub this year’s adventure... "All
On A Hot Summer’s Night". Bring your spectacles,
binoculars, telescopes and spy glasses. We’ll enjoy some
star gazing and discover new planets. The weekend of July
4th will provide a half-waxed moon, by which to gaze into
the dark skies at night and also afford some splendid
fishing. Click on the link above and commit yourself, and a
loved one, to intimate evenings under the dark summer
skies.

All boundaries are stripped away to navigate, explore and dominate, remote, unnamed rivers,
lakes and streams throughout Patagonia, on a five month trek over 7,000 miles of rugged terrain
through the Andes to Tierra del Fuego. This truly is an adventure, unlike any other fly fishing
entertainment you have ever experienced. Full of “the most stimulating fly fishing footage ever
captured”.
